Family trip to Palenque- Gloria del Carmen Blanco Pico 1A

This trip happened about four years ago, I don't remember every detail but I do remember the main events. Everything started going to our destination, we don't gave a particular vehicle so we had to take the bus. The way to Palenque was supposedly going to last ten hours approximately, but when we got to the bus we were told that the bus was going to take longer to the final destination.
Apparently, protest were being made at that time and the road was blocked, so we had to pass for the roads of of Tabasco which was a lot further than Palenque; is in another state even. The way to Palenque ended up lasting seventeen hours  that felt like pure hell being sitted in a bus for that amount of time. When we finally arrived to the hotel room that my mom had previously booked, we went directly to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and then we went to sleep. We had to wake up early the next morning  to go to the very known ruins of Palenque; I was personally very tired but also excited to be on vacations with my little family which is something that rarely happens. We got to the ruins and we had to climb the big one to go see another ruins behind it. I am terrified of heights so when i was climbing the ruin i was shaking and feeling that i was gping to fall. I got stuck in there for a moment, but with my mom's  help i finally managed to get to the top. We went to see the rest of the places  there and after that we went to grab something to eat. By the time we finished it was getting late so we came back to the hotel and had a delicious dinner enjoying my family's company. We stayed one day more exploring palenque and sadly we had to come back home.
